Two great British straight-ahead jazz players, Steve Fishwick on trumpet and Osian Roberts tenor sax, here in the company of three heavyweight stars of the New York scene – Basile, Patton and Karn. A swinging, authentic classic Hard-Bop sextet, in the mould of Horace Silver and Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers - grounded in tradition but with an ear to the future and touring their new CD.

One of the most in-demand musicians on the London Jazz scene brings his own band of leaders from the young British jazz scene to The Lescar, touring music from one of 2015's best and most assured debut albums, released via the London Chaos Collective. Huw on bass, Laura Jurd on trumpet, Alam Nathoo on Saxophone, Elliot Galvin on accordion and piano and Pete Ibbetson on drums. Improvised music with great themes and inventive, intense playing, all done with a smile on its face.
