Ben Crosland (bass), Steve Lodder (keyboards) and Steve Waterman (trumpet/ flugelhorn) are three musicians who, having worked at the top echelon of British jazz for decades, came together in 2004 to explore the possibilities of a group without drums. ‘The ensemble playing has the togetherness that only comes from top musicians who know each other well and think as one.
